About the Role:

We're seeking a dynamic individual located in Trinidad and Tobago to join our team, playing a crucial role at the intersection of sales and customer support. This position is designed to enhance, refine, and automate our operational systems, reducing time spent on non-client-facing activities, thereby maximizing direct selling opportunities. This role offers the unique opportunity to support our Sales team in both reporting and strategic planning, contributing directly to our sales success. Ideal candidates will have a knack for innovation and a commitment to streamlining processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

 

We’re searching for an exceptional Sales Ops Specialist for our Sales team, whose responsibilities include: 

Customer Support Requests

  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming customer support inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to questions or issues.
  • Coordinate with the sales and support teams to resolve complex customer problems, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Manage Sales Platforms and Systems

  • Oversee and maintain the operational integrity of sales platforms and CRM systems such as  SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, and Gong, ensuring they are optimized for peak performance.
  • Manage the “data cleansing” process in our CRM to keep our key sales and GTM data up to date.
  • Implement updates and modifications to sales tools, software, and systems in alignment with evolving sales strategies and technology advancements.
  • Own and streamline monthly sales reporting activities ahead of monthly KPIs and forecasting sessions.  Similarly, support the preparation and analysis associated with quarterly forecasting and team meetings.

Support and Facilitate the Building of New Leads Lists for Sales Team Members

  • Conduct thorough market research and data analysis to identify and compile lists of new leads on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure these leads are qualified and align with the company's target market and sales objectives.

Draft Proposals and Change Orders

  • Prepare detailed proposals and change orders following the established Ei proposal process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Work closely with sales representatives to tailor proposals to the specific needs and requirements of potential clients.

Map Out Client Facilities on Google Earth

  • Utilize Google Earth to visually map out client facilities, providing a geographical context for sales strategies and operations.
  • Accurately record and update relevant data associated with client facilities to aid in sales planning and decision-making.

Add New Leads Data to the Sales CRM

  • Diligently input data for new leads into the sales CRM, ensuring information is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Regularly monitor and clean the CRM database to maintain its integrity and usefulness for the sales team.

Ad Hoc Projects as Needed

  • Take on additional projects and tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges or directions.
  • Show initiative in identifying areas for improvement or opportunities for innovation within the sales operations domain.
 

NEEDED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Analytical Skills

Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, forecast sales, and recommend improvements to sales strategies.

Technical Proficiency

Familiarity with sales software, CRM systems (like Salesforce or Pipedrive), data analysis tools (such as Excel or Google Sheets), and other technology solutions that support sales operations.

Process Improvement

Skill in identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and implementing changes that lead to improved productivity and effectiveness.

Project Management

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping them on track and within budget. This includes planning, execution, and monitoring of sales operations initiatives.

Communication Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with the sales team, cross-functional departments, and external partners. Also includes the ability to create clear reports and presentations.

Strategic Planning

Competence in assisting with the development and implementation of sales strategies, plans, and goals to align with the organization’s objectives.

Precision in managing databases, maintaining sales records, and ensuring the accuracy of sales-related information.

Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to quickly identify problems, think critically, and come up with effective solutions to support the sales team’s efforts.

 Being a team player, willing to work closely with other members of the sales team and cross-functional teams to achieve collective goals.
